Jon Blank R.I.P

"The unbelievably sad news about the passing of Jon Blank came to us yesterday. He passed away on Sat. May 4th just one day after coming home from Europe after some incredibly successful shows with the Wino band. I never had the opportunity to actually meet Jon but Wino spoke incredibly highly of him and everyone I know that knew him said he was as great a person as he was a musician. His playing on the Wino solo album is phenomenal and I felt excited to be working in the presence of true rising star." in Southern Lord
